Luck of the Irish
Original painting by Theresa LaBrecque.
Theresa LaBrecque grew up in New Hampshire, she fell in love with the mossy woodlands behind her home where she spent countless hours playing. She often made fairy houses and villas for her temporary woodland pets, and would lay upon natural moss beds while letting her imagination go wild. In her imagination the birds confided in her and the toads depended on her for creative shelter. Cows grazed in her woods and Theresa befriended a few, she would climb on their backs while they lazily chewed their cud. They too confided in the whimsical child. Is it any wonder then that the adult child still prefers whimsy and offers it to the world in art form? Today Theresa lives on her farm in Northwood NH with several goats, a unicorn (a small white rescue horse) and Panda her beloved Bull terrier.
