The bold oranges and yellows of fall are the focus of this watercolor by Conrad Young - stone walls like this still criss-cross New England hills.
Conrad Young considers himself fortunate to have grown up on farms all over Maine and New Hampshire. His father, a logger and blacksmith, also raised horses, so many of his childhood memories were of time spent in the woods and hayfields. His passion of the mountains, lakes, and woodlands is evident in the landscapes he enjoys capturing in watercolors. Each scene is a childhood memory with unique lighting, composition, and unusual arrangement of elements and colors. To learn more about Conrad, please visit his website www.watercolorbyconradyoung.com
